Certified Hematology and Oncology Coder (CHONC)™

Experienced hematology and oncology coders are encouraged to sit for the CHONC exam. CHONC certification demonstrates proficiency applying correct ICD-10-CM, CPT®, HCPCS Level II, and modifier assignment when reporting hematology and oncology services and procedures. CHONC certification validates expertise in coding of surgical procedures performed by hematologists and oncologists and auxiliary staff.
