Biotechnology

An undergraduate major in biotechnology built on a basic science foundation in biology, chemistry, biochemistry and statistics, plus biotechnology coursework in mammalian cell culture, microbial fermentation, virology, bioinformatics, applied biotechnology, molecular biology techniques, and downstream processing of biopharmaceutical products. Certain courses count toward both the BS and the MS in the dual degree program.
