Surgical Technology

The surgical technology degree program prepares entry-level surgical technologists who are competent in cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession. The program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement in surgical technology.
