Literacy

The Literacy major prepares licensed educators as reading professionals through required Reading Specialist and Reading Teacher coursework, practica, and portfolio work. As part of the Reading Teacher, Reading Specialist and/or Master of Arts in Reading programs, students develop a portfolio demonstrating their growing knowledge and professional development in literacy learning based on the ILA Standards for Reading.
