The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing represents the study of literature from the perspective of the writer, combining a humanities-based curriculum with creative manuscript work and criticism. This low-residency program offers creative nonfiction, fiction, literary translation, playwriting, poetry, writing for the screen, and young people as primary genres, with single genre, mixed genre, and dual concentration completion options.
