Philosophy, Rhetoric and Literature

The certificate program in philosophy, rhetoric and literature is an interdisciplinary humanities program that integrates continental philosophy, literature, art, communication and social critique. Students explore existential crises and the production of cultural values. They examine the anxieties and expectations surrounding cultural identity, including the expectation to adhere to gendered, racial, ethnic, social and religious norms.
