ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

The Accounting Specialist Occupational Skills Award recognizes attainment of enhanced skills for those students employed in the accounting or related areas. All courses may be applied toward the Accounting Specialist or the Professional Accountant Advanced Technical Certificates. Note from the Texas Board of Public Accountancy: You can only refer to yourself as a CPA, accountant or auditor if you are a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. See Section 901.453 of The Public Accountancy Act.
