Art History

The program prepares the student to further their studies of the history of the practice and production of visual arts and uses the study of art history as the study of objects within their historical, cultural and stylistic context. This is complemented by the requirement of two studio classes where the art history student learns the basic skills and concepts inherent in creating a work of art.
