Emergency Medical Technician - Basic

This course will prepare you for a job in the emergency medical field. The student will be trained in basic life support, patient assessment, and management of medical and traumatic emergencies. It will include lecture and practical experience in aspects of emergency treatment and transport of patients to emergency departments. This course is prerequisite for the Emergency Medical Technician Specialist and Paramedic programs.
