English

Mastery of the written word is essential for communication in today’s global world. BSC English courses provide students the opportunity to strengthen their writing, reading, and critical thinking skills. English faculty strive to instill in students an appreciation of the power and beauty of the written word and the knowledge that their voices have value, all while participating in a community of active learners. If students want to live in a world of ideas, they should major in English.
