Applied Mathematics

The Division of Applied Mathematics offers a graduate program leading to the Master of Science (Sc.M.) degree. The division is a center of research activity in areas including differential equations, stochastic control theory, applied probability and statistics, computational molecular biology, numerical analysis and scientific computation, and the mechanics of solids and fluids.
