The Gateways Program at The Warren Alpert Medical School provides academically promising, motivated students new pathways to careers in the health sciences. In this one-year, full-time program, students complete 8.5 required courses culminating in a Master of Science (ScM) in Medical Sciences, including basic science and organ system courses taken by first-year medical students plus a seminar series on pressing issues in health care.
