The Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science requires passing fourteen graduate-level (2000-level) courses with a grade of B or better, twelve of which must be within the Political Science department. Students work in the American politics, comparative politics, international relations, or political theory subfields, completing research methods coursework and field proseminars.
