The Department of Portuguese and Brazilian Studies offers the Doctor of Philosophy in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies. The department's programs focus on the global nature of the Portuguese-speaking world, as well as on specific geographical areas: Continental and Insular Portugal, Brazil, Lusophone Africa, and Luso-America.
