Astrophysics

The astrophysics major is the same as a physics major but with an astronomical emphasis, appropriate for students who wish to study astronomy with attention to the physical principles underlying observed phenomena. Offered through Haverford College, its depth of physics training prepares students for graduate study in astronomy or astrophysics or for a wide range of other careers.
