The chemistry option offers a flexible, interdisciplinary program encompassing organic, inorganic, chemical biology, biochemistry and biophysics, chemical physics, and theoretical chemistry, with two tracks: Chemistry and Chemical Biology & Molecular Bioscience. Students are not ordinarily admitted to graduate work leading to an M.S.; under special circumstances a master's degree can be granted.
