Computer Science

Graduate study in computer science within the Computing and Mathematical Sciences department is oriented principally toward Ph.D. research, requiring a minimum of three academic years of residence. Students complete advanced coursework, a preliminary examination, a candidacy oral examination, and a thesis with final defense.
