Geological and Planetary Sciences

The aim of the undergraduate program is to provide thorough training in the geological and planetary sciences and, wherever possible, to integrate these studies with mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. The GPS major involves a number of core courses and various electives, with focused tracks available in geology, geobiology, geochemistry, geophysics, and planetary science.
