General Studies

This degree is awarded to students who successfully complete 60 semester credit hours of coursework and provides students with a basic understanding of the biological sciences and an opportunity to integrate liberal arts with healthcare education. The program helps students develop competencies in communication, critical thinking and problem solving, and content application as a foundation for further study or careers in the life sciences or healthcare professions.
