Forensic Nursing

Forensic nursing is specialized care for patients experiencing acute and long-term health consequences associated with victimization or violence. This certificate prepares RNs who work in settings where there is no formal forensic nursing position to apply an enhanced skill set to inpatient, outpatient, community/home health, school, elder care, coroner's office, corrections, and mass disaster settings.
