Cosmetology

The field of Cosmetology encompasses a broad range of specialty areas including; hairstyling, nail technology and esthetics. The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Cosmetology is designed to prepare the student with the knowledge and the manipulative skills in hair, nails and skin care. The program emphasizes safety and infection control in all aspects of the various disciplines. The student will also study the professional skills needed to communicate effectively and make sound decisions.
