Social Work Addiction Option

The Social Work Addictions Option is for those individuals interested in pursuing a career in the addictions field. The program is designed to prepare the student with the skills necessary to obtain their Certified Addictions Practitioner Assistant (CAPA) certification. The student who completes this option and obtains CAPA certification may work within inpatient or outpatient drug or alcohol treatment programs, detoxification centers, and drug court programs.
