Cultural Studies

Cultural studies draws on social, cultural, and literary theories to pursue the analysis of cultural objects in their social contexts. Students learn to apply contemporary theory, with an emphasis on examinations of race, ethnicity, and class, in their critical analysis of literature, film, and other cultural narratives.
