Biology

The biology program strives to educate and train a diverse student population to become lifelong learners, problem solvers and globally and environmentally responsible citizens. Students graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology are qualified to enter careers in health-related fields, teach biology in secondary school with teaching certificate, and enter professional schools of dentistry, medicine, physical therapy, and other health professions.
