Nurse Aide Training

The Nurse Aide Training Certificate program is approved by the Ohio Department of Health. The program provides the skills needed to care for residents in a long-term care facility. These skills include Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and lifting safely without injury to self or residents. Students practice these skills in lab (a simulated patient room) and then apply the skills during their clinical rotation in a long-term care facility, with guidance from RN instructors.
