Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science offers a graduate program leading to the Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, designed to increase the student's fundamental knowledge and to give the student guidance and experience in research. The department has strengths in theory, artificial intelligence, software, graphics and visualization, security, systems, and networks. The PhD requires a minimum of 90 credit hours and an original research thesis.
