Communications Officer

This certificate is designed to provide first responder communication officers with entry-level training in administrative policies and procedures, interpersonal skills, AREAS OF STUDY| 81 confidentiality, legal issues, telephone and broadcast function, and departmental and external databases. The successful student will be eligible to apply for employment as a public safety (9-1-1) dispatcher.
