General Studies

Students may choose a 24 credit hour Area of Focus. At least 12 hours must be taken at College of Saint Mary. If an Area of Focus is selected, the seminar course offered in a discipline in the focus area may be substituted for the BGS seminar requirement. The areas of focus can be chosen from the following: Business: 24 credit hours in BUS courses. English: English Minor plus six additional credit hours in ENG courses. Fine Arts: 24 credit hours chosen from: ART, MUS, and THR.
