Environmental Studies

The Environmental Studies Program provides students with a broad understanding of contemporary and past environmental problems, including an examination of their causes, mechanisms and effects. This understanding will reflect the relevant natural, cultural, and political processes including the interplay among the environment, human values, and economic institutions.
