Paramedic

The paramedic education program is four semesters beyond the EMT course and draws its students from individuals already possessing a valid EMT state certification. Paramedic classes are admitted each spring on a competitive entrance basis and include an interview by the instructor and/or committee, and candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive EMT exam to be considered.
