Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program prepares students for careers in medical imaging using ultrasound technology to produce diagnostic images. Students receive a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and supervised clinical experience. The curriculum focuses on areas such as abdominal, obstetric and gynecologic, vascular, and small parts sonography, with an emphasis on patient care, anatomy, pathology, and image acquisition.
