Gerontology

The aging of the population is one of the most important demographic trends currently affecting the United States. The 60-plus population is growing more rapidly than any other major population group. Individuals who have studied gerontology (study in aging) are in high demand as expanding opportunities exist among individuals who provide direct services to older adults. Gerontology complements a variety of existing degree and certificate programs.
