Health Information Technology Medical Coder

The Medical Coder Certificate Program is a 32 credit-hour program that prepares students with the technical skills and knowledge needed for successful entry-level coding positions in a variety of health care settings. The program provides training in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, computers and health information systems, legal and ethical aspects of health information, and coding and reimbursement methodologies.
