Professional Accountancy

The courses in the Certificate in Professional Accountancy satisfy the accounting, research, ethics and business communication course requirements for eligibility to sit for the Certified Public Accountant Exam in the State of Texas. Courses that satisfy the business course requirements for CPA exam eligibility are also available to students but are not part of the degree plan. The program focuses on advanced topics including financial accounting, taxation, and auditing.
