Anthropology majors describe human diversity with reference to language, human biology, archaeology, and culture, and identify the role of anthropology in the contemporary world. Students design and complete anthropological research projects in which they select and apply anthropological methods and theories. The major requires 11 courses, including the three introductory courses, a research methods course, and Senior Colloquium. The degree requires 32 courses (not semester credit hours).
