Archaeology

Archaeology majors contextualize the diversity of past human experiences through the comparative examination of material culture broadly defined, and assemble, analyze, and interpret archaeological evidence using appropriate archaeological methods. Students apply archaeological concepts and techniques through original research in a geographic, chronological, or methodological focus of their choosing. The major requires 12 courses plus practical experience.
