This program of study leads to the Master of Science degree (M.S. Ed.) and to eligibility for New York State certification as a teacher of Adolescence Education in Mathematics, Social Studies, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics), English or World Languages. Students take 27 credits in studies directly related to teaching students in grades 7-12 and 6 credits in supervised student teaching/integrative seminar.
