This program of study leads to the Master of Science degree (M.S. Ed.) and to eligibility for New York State certification as a teacher of Childhood Education. Students take 27 credits in studies directly related to teaching students in grades 1-6, as per New York State certification requirements, and 6 credits in supervised student teaching/integrative seminar. The program is offered through a quarter schedule with two courses offered each quarter, meeting every other weekend.
