Community Policing

The certificate program in community policing is designed for individuals who want to deepen their understanding of relationship-building strategies, such as conflict resolution and de-escalation tactics, responding to people with substance use disorders or mental health crises, child abuse and neglect indicators, and domestic violence. It is a stand-alone program not embedded in an undergraduate degree, and prior college experience is not required for acceptance.
