Biology

The Department of Biology offers programs of study with a major and minor in biology. A major in biology allows a student to choose one of three specializations: general biology, environmental studies, or human biology. The department is committed to teaching the fundamental skills and techniques of biology, exploring how biology as a science is a way of knowing about life and instilling a desire for further study in biology.
