The Elementary Alternative Licensure Program is 21 credit hours, including three 1-hour mentored internships as teacher of record taken throughout the program. Candidates must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout the program. Candidates must complete at minimum one academic year as “Teacher of Record” in a New Mexico K-8 public school.
