Advanced EMT Certificate

The Certificate of Completion in Advanced EMT articulates classroom, clinical, and field experience to prepare students for a career in out-of-­hospital emergency medical care. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Personnel, through the performance of patient assessments and initial treatment of medical emergencies of the acutely ill or injured, work to prevent and reduce mortality and morbidity.
