Dental Assisting

The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Assisting program prepares students for a career that combines interpersonal and technical skills. Students learn to provide patient care, assist the dentist at chairside, take x-rays, and perform laboratory, clinical, and office management duties. Clinical applications are gained within the educational facility or through an internship within the local dental community.
