Nursing -- LVN to RN Transition Option

This Associate of Applied Science Degree program prepares students with an LVN or LPN license to become eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Program graduates provide professional nursing care. Students can transfer their vocational nursing courses to this program under the Texas Nursing Articulation Plan. Students must have and maintain a current state licensure (from Texas or Compact State) as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
