The Certificate of Completion in Paramedic articulates classroom, clinical, and field experience to prepare students for a career in out-of-hospital emergency medical care. EMS Emergency Medical Services personnel, through performance of patient assessments and initial treatment of medical emergencies of the acutely ill or injured, work to prevent and reduce mortality and morbidity.
