The Occupational Skills Award in Structural Welding is a program where the students learn and demonstrate their skills in shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding -- SMAW and GMAW -- as applied to structural welding. The skills they will learn will allow them to pass an AWS American Welding Society D1.1 welding test.
