Psychology, often referred to as “the helping profession,” appeals to students who have a passion for serving others and are interested in unlocking the mysteries of the human mind. Psychology majors develop a deeper understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them as they explore what motivates behavior and causes emotion. Studying what makes people tick, personality, and cognition enables psychology majors to develop strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
