CFP® Certification Financial Planning Education Program

FDU offers a CFP® Board-approved program that prepares students to take the CFP® Exam, covering the 72 Principal Knowledge Topics prescribed by the CFP® Board. The non-credit certificate program is made up of six financial planning courses that run consecutively and culminate in a seventh capstone course, with a duration of about 24 months. Students who complete the required courses and satisfy the CFP® Board's education requirement are eligible to sit for the CFP® exam.
