The Master of Arts in Teaching in K-12 Special Subjects with a specialty in Art leads to an initial 'A' level teaching license. Candidates complete core coursework in instructional design and educational psychology, art education specialty area requirements, and a nine-hour advanced clinical experience, and must pass the required PRAXIS II examination and submit an edTPA portfolio.
