Elementary Education (M.A.T.)

The Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education (K-6) leads to an initial 'A' level teaching license for candidates who already hold a baccalaureate degree or are employed as NC Residency teachers. The program includes a core in educational psychology and instructional design, specialty area coursework in elementary math, social studies, language arts, science, and literacy, and a nine-hour advanced clinical experience.
